Lorex's Security Recording Device can record 40 hours in real time and 1,280 hours (OVER 50 DAYS) in Time Lapse mode. That's over a month and half or recording time, using a standard T-120 video cassette tape.

Time lapse refers to recording one still video image (frame) at fewer than 30 frames per second. The speed of this recording can usually be adjusted. The advantage of time lapse recording is the ability to increase maximum recording time so longer periods of time can be captured on a video tape.

This Lorex LORSG7965 has a long-life capstan motor which provides up 8 times longer life than standard time-lapse VCRs. It's an outstanding security asset and features a 4-head Helical Azimuth scanning system, event log that includes power failure and alarms, easy-to-use on-screen programming and built-in alarm terminal block. It comes with a remote control for convenient operation.
